Massive Lenin statue found in Antarctica

Trekking scientists have discovered a bizarre relic of the Soviet Union that is dominating the South Pole of Inaccessibility, the point of Antarctica that is furthest from the ocean. As the US election race heats up, I see this as a nice little nudge coming from the Cold War era. You can see a news report here. [image: teamn2i.com]
